Greetings Norfolk Terrier Club Members,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as your newly elected president. I am extremely excited to be holding such an important position in a club that I have been a member of since 1995. I am looking forward to collaborating with all our members to revitalize and renew our club and to improve its standing with our membership. With the profound and rapid changes we have witnessed in our sport and in our daily lives over these last several months, a renewed focus on our dogs and our club is in order. I believe our club will grow and flourish under the leadership of our newly elected board.

As the leader of the NTC, I hope to leverage new opportunities to increase membership value and to deliver a rewarding experience to all Norfolk Terrier enthusiasts. Over the past 26 years I have had the opportunity to get to know most of our club members and our conversations and experiences together have increased my enthusiasm for holding this position. I value all club member’s opinions and appreciate any and all input you have for me regarding the operation of the club.

I am currently getting settled in with our new board and once we have an opportunity to meet and make a list of goals and identify milestones for the club, we will be reaching out to the membership for assistance in checking things off our list. I can guarantee you that the board and I agree that we need to improve the delivery of services to our membership. To accomplish this, we will need help filling vacancies on committees and we hope that as many of you as possible will want to get involved by volunteering for these positions. It is my belief that committees are vital to the survival of a National Breed Club because this is where the bulk of the work is done to make a club successful, including providing services to its members.

One of my main goals over the next year of my presidency will be to do a better job of keeping club members informed. As a board we will strive to deliver a quality product to you as we work to enhance member participation. I know we have a bounty of opportunities ahead of us because of the strengths of our board and our membership, and if built upon we will deliver lasting positive results for our club now and for years to come.

Thank you for your support. Be safe and be well.
